I Vote For Art
Benjamin Tollady Design helped design and build I Vote For Art, a start-up online art gallery featuring great work from international contemporary artists.
I Vote For Art is the brainchild of Ben Rowe, a Melbourne-based web professional with a passion for great contemporary art.
Ben approached BTD in mid-2007 with the concept of an online art gallery with a twist, where users could not only buy and sell their artwork, but vote for their favourites too!
Ben had a pretty clear idea of how the site should work, and we worked closely together to wireframe key pages and nut-out the process-flows before starting to design the templates.
Once I had the first few templates in place Andrew Gunstone helped bring the whole thing to life using Expression Engine.
Design and development was swift, with this constituting our first foray into agile development.
Despite being live for only a few months now, I Vote For Art is already proving hugely popular and now boasts over 100 pieces of artwork from over 30 artists! So get on over to I vote for art and get yourselves something cool to decorate those walls with!
