Benjamin Tollady Design worked closely with independent film and television production company, Melodrama Pictures to produce this quirky promotional flash website.
Melodrama Pictures is an independent film and television production company creating feature films, television drama, documentary and animation projects since 1999.
Principal, Melanie Coombs has been involved with numerous award-winning productions, including double AFI award winning short “Break & Enter” and “Harvie Krumpet”, written and animated by acclaimed claymator Adam Elliot, which went on to win the 2003 Academy Award for Short Film – Animation among many other international awards! The DVD has sold more than 35,000 units in Australia/NZ, is now available in the US and UK.
A collaborative affair
Whilst working directly for Madman Entertainment, I worked closely with Melanie, developing the site theme and ‘picture frames’ concept before turning the idea into a fully interactive flash site. Production of the site was very much a collaborative affair, with Melanie providing many of her own picture frames and a vast array of photographs and slides to be used within the site.
