The British Museum
Benjamin Tollady Design helped The British Museum develop a suite of sites and interactive educational applications for use in schools across the UK to educate children aged 9 – 14 about ancient civilisations.
The prestigious British Museum holds a collection of art and antiquities from ancient and living cultures. Housed at one of Britain’s architectural landmarks in the heart of London, the collection is one of the finest in existence, spanning two million years of human history.
Flash-based interactive games and animations
The museum’s Educational New Media Unit (EMU) contacted Benjamin Tollady Design to help their team develop a number of Flash-based interactive games and animations to complete the suite of educational material.
3D modeling & Flash integration
Given my experience in 3D modeling & Flash integration, I was asked to concentrate on the production of those applications requiring 3D elements. 3D Studio was used to model ancient temples, burial grounds and artifacts before exporting to Flash to create rich, engaging interactive experiences to entertain and educate young users.
